Nathan's Dog at Coney Island

Yes, this is delicious! No really! It's amazing. You have to try one. It's a Coney Island dog from the original Nathan's located at Coney Island. Sadly, Coney Island is no longer what it once was: full of loud carnies, arcades, fair rides and such. But you can still go and get a generous helping of cheesy dogs slathered in ketchup. Served with a fork!

Vicki and me at Coney Island. Wear shoes or sandals at all times. There is some nasty stuff on that beach.

Picnic in Prospect Park

Ah, the quinessential NY picnic. A must do for anyone! Here I am drinking Arizona tea in Prospect Park waiting for my friends to fire up the grill.

The grill master himself. This is Mike. Mike is married to my friend Vicki (pictured below). Grilling on top of a picnic table is the only way to go.

We stayed in the park for hours, like true locals should. Here is us messing around with cotton-candy 'staches! So cute.

Review: Roxy Delicatessen in Times Square

While living in New York City for about a year, I bet you can imagine I ate at some WONDERFUL food places. You would be correct. Many of them I didn't take pictures of, and now I really regret that. I do have a few pictures. This one is of Nadine and I at the Roxy's Delicatessen in Times Square. As you can see, I'm enjoying my traditional chocolate cake (nom nom nom) while Nid is getting ready to scarf down the cheesecake. Yummy desserts! Also try the rugelach. (drool)
